Who are the Liana Certified Partners and how can they help you?
When it comes to securing your Bitcoin, having the right guidance makes all the difference. The Liana wallet is a powerful tool for self-custody, so we, Wizardsardine, decided to create a program called Liana Certified Partners and get companies all over the world to guide you in their native languages in case you need assistance. We are connecting users with experts we trained.
These partners are here to help with professional on-boarding, personalized support, and recommend devices and backup solutions. Wether you’re starting now with your Bitcoin journey or are trying to upgrade your setup, Liana Certfified Partners are your “go-to guides”.
Their role is to bring expertise and offer one-on-one assistance to users, in your native language. The main goal is to make the process of setting up your Liana wallet as smooth and safe as possible. From the initial on-boarding to ongoing support, they operate as extensions of the Liana brand.
Who are they?
Bitcoin Brabant 🇳🇱

Serving the Netherlands and the Dutch part of Belgium, Bitcoin Brabant helps people get started with Bitcoin and offers support in Dutch. This can be done in-person or online, depending on what people prefer.
Bitcoin Brabant officially started at block number 700,000 on 11-09-2021. The founder, Bert, has been active full-time in Bitcoin since 2019. Before that, he already had many touch points with Bitcoin through work and friends going back as early as 2013/2014. In 2019 he decided to dive in completely, spending over 10,000 hours studying Bitcoin. That journey eventually led to the creation of Bitcoin Brabant in 2021, with the goal of increasing adoption and helping people with Bitcoin in any way possible.
They chose to onboard with Liana because of its technical design with full sovereignty and easy-to-set-up time locks. Liana fits naturally into their services, since Bitcoin Brabant also offers mining, signing devices, and setup support. As Bert explained, adding Liana was just a logical extension of their portfolio.
When onboarding clients with Liana, the most common questions are: “Where is my descriptor if I use Liana Connect?”; “Can I use it fully sovereign?”; “What happens if Liana ceases to exist?”.
The key, Bert says, is to understand what the client actually needs and which features are most valuable for their situation.
Compared to the wallet they used before, Liana stands out thanks to its UTXO management, clean and easy GUI, open-source code, and the fact that it allows a straightforward full-sovereign setup, all backed by a highly technical and supportive team.
Criptotech 🇦🇷

Based in Rosario, Argentina, Criptotech has been part of the Bitcoin ecosystem since 2020 as users, and since 2022 they’ve been offering professional self-custody services. They offer their support in-person or online in spanish.
Their first contact with Liana came through conversations with developers in the Bitcoin space, while looking for real, long-term solutions for inheritance and delegation. What motivated them to become an expert was the project’s clarity and coherence. Liana addresses what many wallets avoid, offering practical tools for continuity, security, and true sovereignty.
For Criptotech, Liana plays a central role in their approach to advanced self-custody. It’s part of their strategic advisory package for sovereign Bitcoin use, especially for long-term holders, families, and teams who need more than just basic setups.
Clients are often curious about how inheritance works without custodians, whether they can really delegate without losing control, and how secure multisig actually is. That’s where Criptotech highlights Liana’s inheritance and delegation features. In their view, these tools are essential if Bitcoin is going to last beyond the individual. They use Liana themselves too, building a clear continuity plan without relying on custodians and showing clients by example how it works in practice.
Becoming a Liana retailer has positioned Criptotech as a reference point for advanced self-custody in their community. It has sparked new conversations, especially with people who are serious about sovereignty. And yes, demand is growing, many Argentinians start with basic self-custody but soon realize they need more robust solutions for the long term.
What makes Liana stand out, according to Criptotech, is its philosophy. It’s not built for “Bitcoin as just another app”, but for people who understand that Bitcoin is both freedom and responsibility. Liana respects the user, and that matters.
Criptotech’s own Bitcoin journey began as a search for economic sovereignty. Over time it grew into a way of life and work, moving from study and experimentation to guiding others down the same path. In Argentina, they see huge potential for Bitcoin adoption, but, they say, the key is more education, better tools like Liana, and less noise.
In the end, for Criptotech, being part of the Liana retailer network is more than offering a wallet. It’s a way of honoring Bitcoin’s original vision, bringing it into reality with tools that truly work and that can transform lives.
Plano B 🇧🇷

Based in Brazil and working fully remote and in portuguese, Plano B has been active in the Bitcoin space since 2024 but personally Rodrigo Carraresi, the founder, has been working in the Bitcoin community since 2021.
Rodrigo first crossed paths with the Liana team while working at Ledger and attending Bitcoin-only conferences. Back then, during the “Revault” days, our first product, he got to test Liana in its early stages. From the start, it stood out since it was one of the first multisig products with miniscript support. That was a huge deal and sparked the decision to become a Liana retailer.
At Plano B, guiding people through Bitcoin happens in three steps: First, understanding what Bitcoin is and how it works. Second, taking control of your assets through self-custody. Third, preparing for the future.
It’s at that last step where Liana really shines. For people who worry about losing access to their coins, Liana makes self-custody less scary and more secure. It also helps people think long-term and not just about themselves, but about their family’s future.
When introducing Liana, customers usually ask how to get started and what the best setup looks like. A demo helps break the ice, and then strategies can be discussed. The most popular feature? Inheritance. It gives people peace of mind, especially with options like geo-distributed keys. Plano B uses Liana personally too, always testing before onboarding others.
Becoming a Liana retailer has had a real impact. Clients feel relief knowing that losing a key doesn’t mean losing everything. That extra layer of security has built stronger trust and brought the local Bitcoin community closer together. In Brazil and across Latin America, the demand for inheritance and delegation tools is only growing. More and more people are asking themselves what happens to their bitcoin when they are not present anymore.
What makes Liana different from other wallets is its focus on the long-term. While many wallets stop at basic self-custody, Liana goes further, not only with inheritance, but time-locks and multisig, all wrapped in a tool that feels built with real users in mind.
Rodrigo’s first contact with Bitcoin was back in 2017, helping a friend who couldn’t even open a bank account. What began as skepticism turned into a lightbulb moment. Bitcoin was the way to finally become your own bank. Since then, there’s been no looking back. And in a region where governments keep printing money, raising taxes, and tightening controls, Bitcoin feels more important than ever.
A memorable story? Helping a mother and her son living in different countries. She had been saving in Bitcoin but was anxious about the future. With Liana, they set up a plan where her son could recover the funds if she ever lost access. Simple, safe, and reassuring, for both of them. That’s the kind of peace of mind Plano B wants to spread.
Being a Liana retailer isn’t just about offering a wallet, it’s about shaping the tools Bitcoiners need. Plano B continues to learn, share feedback, and support open-source, freedom-focused tech along the way.
These three Liana Certified Partners represent just a part of our growing network. Through these partners, Liana Wallet ensures that every user, no matter their location or language, can access professional support. We’re always working to onboard more experts so we can support more users, especially now that Liana Business has launched.
